Site clean, finished render and garage door

I drove down my street tonight and got a huge surprise to see that my site had been cleaned which included the removal of the port-a-loo and rubbish cage and that my render has been finished!!

I love my render and love having a clean front yard!

Fitout has started

The Fitout stage started yesterday and after today the electrical fitout is basically done - an outdoor light hasn't been fitted and a powerpoint in the bathroom hasn't been done either.
I have electricals, taps, toilets and plumbing so really the house is almost done! The outdoor painting still hasn't been done but the weather is on the improve so hopefully soon.
Pitty work is being extremely stressful so I don't feel too excited about it :(

Photo's from the past few days

I have light switches and power points - the light switch is meant to be on the other side of the door though

My fancy light shade that the builder provides (one day they will be changed out) and energy saving light bulbs - will change these for warm light ones

I have a shower rail and mixer taps on the shower and basin

Taps for the bath, glad the spout reaches

Washing machine taps and some plaster damage

Insulation has been delivered, I couldn't see any writing to say what R rating it is to make sure it was the correct type

Lights over my kitchen bench where I will one day put in pendants

Rental notice given

That's right, I have submitted my 4 weeks rental notice to the estate agents! ARGH!! Wow! A big move considering but my builder has been really good and accurate with dates so far so it should be OK!

Today I've also booked the removalist, put in my annual leave and purchased the redi shades for the rest of my windows!

Oh hang on, I don't think I put it in here, on the weekend I had a suggestion put to me that I buy some nice wooden venetians for my 3 front windows. This way the front of the house will look finished and I will be able to block more light out of my bedroom so good all around and for less than $140 for the 3 (they were 40% off) I agreed, it was a good idea!

PCI and Handover Dates plus render

I have actual PCI and handover dates! Yes, yes I do!! PCI is 22nd and handover is 29th!! I figure I can hopefully move the day after handover and take the rest of the week off! YaY!!!

Providing I can clear it with work, I'm going to give notice for Tuesday October 6th which gives me a week to move out and get it all done!

Also! I have my first coat of render!

The photo's are kinda dodgy as it wasn't just raining but hailing!

Completed tiling and garage door

Due to work I haven't been to see my house for 2 days, but today when I got there rather late the tiler was there putting the final tile back on from needing to leave it off for the plumber so I was able to get in to get photos!

Ensuite shower base - I love how they did the tiling, love the diagonals!
